The project TSSTrip: Tourism Security and Sustainability Training Innovations through Academia and Industry Co-operation has successfully concluded and the results, which include new training tools, aim to strengthen safety and security practices within the tourism sector. The project agreement number is 2023-1-LV01-KA220-HED-000159054.
Project Goals and Activities:
- Experiential Learning: The project intends to create experiential learning opportunities that will enhance students' capacity to:
- Adopt safe and sustainable travel service practices.
- Design practical solutions that promote sustainability within the tourism industry.
- Integrate innovation and digitalization into tourism education and operations.
- Piloting Events: During autumn 2025, piloting events were implemented across all partner countries to test the training content. This testing phase helped the target group develop new competencies and contributed to the evaluation of the content for ongoing quality enhancement.

- Tourism professionals and organizations interested in sustainability and safety innovation.

- Digital Micro-Credential Courses in safety and sustainable tourism.
