Tourspain returns as a supporter of Balttour 2026, becoming the official sponsor of the exhibition’s opening reception, which will take place on the first day of the event.
The opening reception will bring together approximately 350 tourism industry professionals from Latvia and abroad, including owners and executives of travel agencies and tour operators, representatives of industry associations, as well as public-sector officials responsible for tourism development in Latvia. The event is invitation-only and designed for a high-level professional audience.
For many years, Spain has been one of the most popular travel destinations for Latvian travellers, offering diverse experiences throughout the year. At the same time, Tourspain has launched its first marketing campaign dedicated to sustainable tourism — “Think You Know Spain? Think Again.” The campaign aims to promote slow travel and draw international visitors’ attention to lesser-known yet authentic destinations across Spain.
The reception will be officially opened with a ceremonial address by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Latvia, highlighting tourism as an important pillar of cooperation between the two countries.
